Government of Ensenada begins rehabilitation of the climb to Chapultepec

· The goal to improve is 2,650 square meters of Miguel Alemán Avenue

Ensenada, BC- Thursday, October 24, 2024.- With an investment of more than 2.2 million pesos, the Government of Ensenada began the rehabilitation work with whitetopping of Miguel Alemán Avenue between Ryerson and kilometer 0+160, downtown area .

The municipal president Claudia Agatón Muñiz specified that this work is carried out with resources from the used vehicle regularization program of

foreign origin, which the Government of Mexico has.

The mayor specified that the goal to improve on this road, known as the climb to the Chapultepec 1 and 2 subdivision, is around 2,650 square meters.

“This day, based on information from the Municipal Infrastructure Directorate, the surface and deep patching work began, to later place hydraulic concrete -whitetopping-,” he stated.

Claudia Agatón said that the work is estimated to last around 2 months, so she requested the understanding of the residents of the area, as well as motorists.

He specified that starting this Thursday a total closure was implemented in the direction from East to West and once the work in this orientation is completed, work will begin in the other direction.

Finally, Mayor Claudia Agatón Muñiz urged the population to use alternate routes, drive with caution, respect the signs and the personnel working in the area.
