ORANJESTAD – The Aruban government of Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes on Tuesday offered its resignation to the governor of the island. That decision was taken after it was announced in the morning by the Public Prosecution Service in Aruba that a criminal investigation is taking place into misuse of money by coalition party POR. This means that the government is outgoing, the parliament will be dissolved and new parliamentary elections will be held shortly.
