In a press release, the MSP announced that between August 2 and 31, 2021 it will inject the second doses of Pfizer and Sinovac vaccines.
This will be done “in compliance with the 28-day interval established by the technical guideline for these biologicals, which were applied during the massive campaign as of July 5, 2021.”
And he anticipated that in this period, first doses will not be vaccinated.
The objective, said the entity, is that the majority of the population have the full doses and can enhance your immune response in the presence of the variants of concern.
Although he maintained that “in necessary cases, vaccination with first doses will be carried out only in hot areas with high transmission and in epidemiological fences to avoid the transmission of new variants.”
Lagging population
Between July 26 and August 8, 2021, in addition to the last age groups designated in the state plan, the population lagging behind from previous phases.
