“HWe have sent instructions to the whole country In order to vaccinate people 30 years of age and older, this situation has also been communicated to each of the directors of the departmental health services, ”said Auza.
The Government received 500 thousand Sinopharm vaccines this Wednesday and proceeded to distribute them, which according to Minister Auza allows to expand the age range that was from 40 years onwards until now. He clarified that all people who are over 30 years old can be vaccinated and it is not limited only to those in the 30 to 39 years range.
According to his explanation, the vaccines were distributed as follows: Santa Cruz 105,600 doses, Cochabamba 88,200, La Paz 70,400, Oruro 52,800, Tarija 52,800, Chuquisaca 52,800, Potosí 35,200, Beni 26,400 and Pando was the department that received 16,000, making a total of 500,200 doses in total.
