Government provides subsidy of RD$230 million for fuels – El Universal Digital
For the week of November 9 to 15, 2024, the Government provides a subsidy of RD$230 million to keep the prices of the most consumed fuels stable in the country and prevent recent international increases from impacting consumers.
The measure includes the following subsidies:
- Regular Diesel: RD$9.03 per gallon
- Optimal Diesel: RD$4.65 per gallon
- Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG): RD$21.69 per gallon
Consequently, fuel prices for this week are as follows:
- Premium fuel: RD$290.10 per gallon (no changes)
- Regular Gasoline: RD$272.50 per gallon (no changes)
- Regular Diesel: RD$221.60 per gallon (without changes)
- Optimal Diesel: RD$239.10 per gallon (no changes)
- Avtur: RD$191.50 per gallon (up RD$5.83)
- Kerosene: RD$221.10 per gallon (up RD$6.60)
- Fuel Oil #6: RD$156.36 per gallon (low RD$2.31)
- Fuel Oil 1%S: RD$171.75 per gallon (up RD$3.71)
- Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG): RD$132.60 per gallon (without changes)
- Gas Natural: RD$43.97 per m³ (without changes)
The weekly average exchange rate has been established at RD$60.24, according to the Central Bank.
