The Department of Education of the Government has granted aid of 466,200 euros to the City Council of Es Castell to undertake the project of creating 37 new Early Childhood Education places in the schoolgirl municipal.
In addition, aid called “in kind” is attributed to him for an amount of 14,682 euros, which consists of advisory and support tasks to the Consistory for the execution of this initiative. There are no more Menorcan town councils that appear among the applications accepted in this line of subsidies.
In January, the Es Castell City Council had to open a second baby classroom due to the increase in demand. This unit was thus added to the two existing in the other two stages it teaches. The project to expand the nursery school began in last term. The 37 new seats will, in fact, mean having a new line in this center.
In addition to the Es Castell City Council, four town councils from Ibiza and ten from Mallorca have joined this line of aid, with amounts ranging between 1.4 million euros and around 150,000 euros. Two requests from Mallorca have been rejected.
