JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Sriwijaya Air The Group responded to government policies that provide stimulus for exemption airport tax at 13 certain airports in Indonesia by adjusting ticket rates.
“Sriwijaya Air Group welcomes the government’s policy of exempting airport tax fees for people at 13 airports in Indonesia,” said Sriwijaya Air President Director Jefferson Jauwena in his official statement, Saturday (24/10/2020).
Jefferson believes, through this stimulus it will move the economy back in the Indonesian aviation sector. He also confirmed that he would support the policy.

Therefore, the Sriwijaya Air ticket fare has been adjusted. Now the latest ticket rates, which are free of airport tax, can be obtained through the official Sriwijaya Air website, or you can come directly to the nearest Sriwijaya Air Group marketing office.
“Of course Sriwijaya Air Group will fully support this policy, and work together with the government to revive people’s enthusiasm for traveling again by plane,” he said.
As is well known, the government decided to bear the cost of Aircraft Passenger Service (PJP2U) or known as Passenger Service Charge (PSC). So that airport tax for the time being is no longer borne by airplane passengers.
With the airport tax stimulus, people using air transportation can buy tickets at a lower price than usual.
The stimulus is valid from 23 October to 30 December 2020. This incentive applies to people who buy tickets at 13 airports for the flight period before January 1, 2021.
