The Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made it official today to terminate the functions of Félix Ricardo Americo Antonio Denegri Boza, as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Peru in the Republic of Colombia.
This decision is made official through Supreme Resolution 049-2023-RE, published in the bulletin of Legal Regulations of the Official Gazette El Peruano..
Likewise, it establishes that the end date of his duties as ambassador will be set by Ministerial Resolution.
In addition, it cancels the credentials and the corresponding full powers; and thanks him for the important services rendered to the Nation in the performance of his duties.
The supreme resolution has the signature of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte; and the head of Foreign Relations, Ana Cecilia Gervasi.
As recalled, the day before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ordered the definitive withdrawal of the Peruvian ambassador in Colombia, Félix Ricardo Américo Antonio Denegri Boza, due to repeated offensive expressions on the part of the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro.
According to the Foreign Ministry statement, the repeated interfering and offensive expressions persist in distorting reality by ignoring the coup perpetrated by former President Pedro Castillo on December 7, 2022. (El Peruano)
