Jaipur ∙ A 17-year-old girl was taken away and raped on the pretext that the government was giving her a mobile phone for free. The accused is Sunilkumar Jangid, a government employee. He is a cashier in the water supply department. The incident that took place on August 10 has come to light now.

Then the girl was taken in the car and taken to the room and tortured. The girl has also stated in the complaint that the accused set her on fire and assaulted her. After the incident, the local residents caught him and tied him up near the gate in front of the water resources department. A video of him being beaten was also shot.
After the beating, the locals freed him without handing him over to the police. The girl filed a complaint against him at Todabhim police station. The police said that a case has been registered against him under sections including POCSO.
