The prosecution investigated 189 people who posted murder warnings online, and detained 32 people and sent them to trial.
However, a man in his 20s who posted a notice of a murder at Sillim Station was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of probation in the first trial.
People who predicted murder not only at Sillim Station but also in Bupyeong Rodeo Street and Yongsan were sentenced to probation one after another in the first trial.
Prosecutors announced that if they received a light punishment, such as probation, they would actively argue for social unrest and the spread of copycat crimes in the appeal trial to obtain a prison sentence.
The government decided not only to punish criminals for murder, but also to actively seek compensation for the waste of public power.
In the case of the murder suspect at Sillim Station, about 700 police officers were deployed until the arrest, and 43 million won was spent, including allowances and vehicle fuel costs, and in relation to the article that bombs were planted at five airports, including Jeju Airport, 3,200 won were spent due to the mobilization of about 570 police officers and riot squad members. It even cost 10,000 won.

″Because the deployment of large-scale police forces results in a waste of public power… We are also actively filing claims for damages in order to seek compensation equivalent to blood tax.”
Prosecutors said that there are cases where it is difficult to punish acts of premonition of murder under the current law alone, and that they will do their best to revise the law to create a new crime of public intimidation.
