The ARA Orpund cleans the wastewater from the communities of Aegerten, Meienried, Meinisberg, Orpund, Safnern, Scheuren, Schwadernau and Studen, as reported by the canton of Bern. The project will significantly improve the cleaning performance of the ARA and expand its capacity. The expansion project ensures appropriate water protection and brings the system up to the current state of the art. mt
