The Vice Minister of Communication, Gabriela Alcón, confirmed this Tuesday the arrival in the country of 1,900,000 anticovid doses of the Moderna vaccine, between December 31, 2021 and January 1, 2022, with which the country would add 22,500,000 immunizers.
This December 31st, 1,400,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine will arrive in the country, from Spain, thanks to a donation from Covax. MMore than 400,000 doses will be received on January 1, adding 1,900,000 Moderna vaccines and a total of 22,500,000 doses.
With the new batches that will arrive in the country the necessary doses will be available for its application in all age groups of the Bolivian population.
“We have vaccinations for children ages five and up, first doses, second doses, reinforcement doses, third doses throughout the national territory; It is important that we attend the vaccination points, taking into account that as of January 1 we will also have the vaccination card or the PCR tests in force, as has been mentioned, ”said Alcón.
The recommendation was reiterated to go to the vaccination centers authorized in all the departments of the country, mainly to those people who did not receive any of the doses.
