The Deputy Minister of Promotion, Epidemiological Surveillance and Traditional Medicine, María Renee Castro, assured this Sunday that the second doses of the Sputnik V vaccine is already on the way and will be distributed as soon as they arrive in the country.
“The vaccines are already on their way to our country, we know that they will arrive in batches. As soon as they arrive, we will start with the distribution ”, assured the authority in contact with radio Panamericana.
The vice minister said rescheduling will be done for people who were supposed to get their booster dose; Likewise, he asked the population to have a little patience because the anticovid vaccines are guaranteed.
“A little patience because there has been a small mishap in Russia, which is totally beyond our control. PWe encourage the population not to queue waiting for vaccines (Sputnik V) as long as they do not have official information that the vaccines are already in our country”, He recommended.
