President Luis Abinader declared this Saturday in Santiago that at the time they will analyze what they will do with the companies that manufacture vaccines against the coronavirus that have failed to comply with the Dominican State.

The head of state said that the national immunization plan is being applied in compliance with what was planned.
He urged the population to continue going to the immunization points to receive the vaccine.

The head of state announced that in the coming days one million more vaccines will arrive in the country, with which phase one of the national immunization plan among the population over 60 years of age will finish.

During the ceremony, Major General Julio Ernesto Florián Pérez, the ERD’s general commander, highlighted the importance of the new facilities that will allow greater accommodation capacity for personnel, with the intention of improving the conditions in which soldiers provide services.
He explained that now the Army will also be able to have a greater presence in the area to contribute to the development of ecological tourism, the security of protected areas and the care of the environment.
In the same way, the members of the Army will support the National Police in San José de las Matas fighting illegal acts, especially preventing illegal immigration from the country’s border.
