The “situation is serious“. This was announced this afternoon by Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, José Luis Ábalos. Likewise, a lot of rail traffic has been suspended (like everything that has origin and destination in Madrid) and the Barajas airport will remain closed at least until 11 p.m. this Saturday, canceling almost 60 flights for the moment.

The worst in the last hours is being taken by the Community of Madrid, where the emergency services have had to rescue since the afternoon of this Friday about 1,500 people trapped in their cars before the impossibility of circulating. The frosts of the next few hours can cause even more problems and traffic accidents, so it is important to limit travel as much as possible until the situation returns to normal.
