The city of Gournay-en-Bray will be involved in national debate on Health. A reference laboratory of the CNR Healthcare is organized at the town hall of Gournay-en-Bray on Monday 28 November 2022 at 6pm. It is open to citizens, elected officials and health professionals.
In rural healthcare, Eric Picard, mayor of Gournay-en-Bray, knows what he’s talking about. His city is one of those in great need of health services.
Not surprisingly, a meeting is organized as part of the major projects of the National Council for the Refoundation (CNR), launched on 8 September by the President of the Republic.
It aims to implement a new method to build concrete solutions on the great transformations to come, especially in the field of health.
“It’s important that people talk about us”
“We are delighted that the regional health agency and the prefecture have chosen to come to Gournay-en-Bray to conduct this important debate in rural areas”, rejoices the mayor of the city.
But he is not fooled and he also knows that this public debate will not resolve all the issues and uncertainties related to health in the Pays de Bray.
This is an important first step in recognizing our health problems.
“It is the state that takes care of this round table. It is the only one with Saint-Valery-en-Caux for the constituency. We are happy that it is taking place here. It is important that we talk about us on our territory and not from Rouen”.
To register for the November 28 meeting
A symbolic visibility but still a visibility that the mayor of Gournay-en-Bray thinks he owes to the deputy Annie Vidal. “I know you are responsible for a report on nursing home health to the Assembly. I think she worked to have this meeting take place at our home. It’s a possibility,” she acknowledges.
On Monday 28 November, two hours of round table discussions and two hours of feedback are scheduled in Gournay-en-Bray. And for Eric Picard: “He is neither innocent nor insignificant”.
18 workshops in Normandy
“Deployed in Normandy by the regional health agency, in close collaboration with the prefectures and elected officials, the National Council for Refoundation-Health it was extended to the entire regional territory from 7 November, with the organization of territorial consultation workshops for all stakeholders.1
8 workshops were deployed in Normandy until 29 November. In Gournay-en-Bray the meeting will therefore take place on Monday 28 November.
This territorial laboratory should allow everyone, citizens, health professionals, elected officials, associations, to discuss and make proposals to improve daily access to prevention and health services.
Following this extensive consultation, a major regional meeting on refunds will be held in early December in order to present the conclusions and produce a synthesis of the work done. Hoping that Gournay-en-Bray will not be forgotten…
