The legends of Swiss rock Gotthard are about to make a triumphant return with their highly anticipated new album, ‘Stereo Crush’, due for release early next year. While further details are yet to come, i Gotthard they announced their return to the stage in May 2025.

Currently being finalized with producer Charlie Bauerfeind, the new album shows i Gotthard at their maximum splendor, intensity and power. “This album is the pure DNA of Gotthard : honest, raw and full of heart”says singer Nic Maeder.

The band has laid the foundation for the next phase of its extraordinary career by signing with Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for a band that boasts over 3.5 million units sold worldwide and more than 2,000 live performances.

Singer Nic Maeder comments: “We are very excited to work with Reigning Phoenix Music! Label boss Sven Bogner has a motivated and competent team at his side, whose passion for our music finally convinced us.”

Guitarist Leo Leoni adds: “With Markus Wosgien, Sven also has a long-time partner in the team, who has already accompanied many of our albums. Markus knows us and our music very well and knows what is important to us Gotthard : we can’t wait to work together!”.

With 16 number one albums, a Diamond Award for selling more than one million units in Switzerland and multiple platinum albums, including the quadruple platinum ‘Homerun’, and several double and triple platinum albums, Gotthard boast an unrivaled legacy of success. Their songs such as ‘Heaven’, a platinum single, and seven top 10 singles have cemented the band on the international music scene.

RPM CEO Jochen Richert is also enthusiastic: “Together with Wilhelm Tell, i Gotthard they are certainly the heroes par excellence of Switzerland. We are very proud to welcome the biggest rock band from their country, with a notable fan base around the world. On stage fans can expect a setlist that seamlessly combines new energy and timeless anthems. THE Gotthard they also reveal that the legendary Y&T will join them as special guests. “Y&T were the soundtrack of our youth”says guitarist Leo Leoni proudly. “Now sharing the stage with them is a dream come true.”

The frontman of Y&T Dave Meniketti is equally enthusiastic: “We’ve always said that if rock ‘n’ roll stays real, it never gets old. THE Gotthard they live it, and that’s why this tour package fits together perfectly!”. With classics like ‘Forever’ and ‘Summertime Girls’, the Y&T they will electrify the crowd.
