“Gothic” remake surprised fans at shows in Poland and London: photo

Developers from the studio Alkimia Interactive, together with THQ Nordic, visited two major gaming exhibitions in different parts of Europe this weekend to show an updated version of the cult Gothic game. The RPG remake was shown at Poznan Game Arena 2024, which was held in Poland, as well as at the EGX London event in London. At both shows, the team presented a playable version of the new Gothic, which visitors could experience. Today the developers provided a photo report with pictures of the stands and the running game.

According to reports, the greatest excitement arose around the game at Poznan Game Arena 2024. Many gamers were attracted by the news that the Gothic remake will receive an official Polish dub when it is released . Therefore, in addition to the game, visitors greatly appreciated the localization that was presented for the first time at this event. Judging by the comments on social networks, many liked the quality of the dubbing.

As for the game itself, it also did not leave fans of the genre indifferent. The introductory part of the remake was available at the game’s locations, allowing you to experience the mechanics and see the redesigned beginning. Some gamers noted minor technical errors in the demo, but this did not stop them from enjoying the improved combat system and other updated elements of the game.

Gothic 1 Remake is in development for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but the game’s release date is unknown.
