Despite an uncertain future, the first season of Knights of Gotham keep recruiting. Now they are the actors of Blind spot et Chicago fire who get a role.
According to Deadline, Lauren Stamile and Damon Dayoub have indeed signed with Warner Bros. The TV and network have come under the control of Nextar Media Group to play Knights of Gothamcreated and written by Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams, the writing trio of Batwoman.
The series takes place in the aftermath of Bruce Wayne’s murder. His wayward adopted son forms an unlikely alliance with the sons of Batman’s enemies when they are all accused of killing the Dark Knight of Gotham. As the city’s most wanted criminals, this gang of renegades must fight to clear their name. But in a Gotham without a Dark Knight to protect it, the city becomes the most dangerous it has ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places, as this team of fugitives will become the next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.
Dayoub will play the role of Lincoln March, a charismatic and self-made industrialist who is intent on becoming the next mayor of Gotham. The only thing more important to Lincoln than his legacy is the power he wields as a member of the city’s elite. For her part, Stamile will play Rebecca March, an elegant spinster who easily plays the role of a devoted “good wife” to her husband, a business tycoon. An attentive and supportive mother, we do not suspect that she is a prisoner of an unhappy marriage. The 2 characters will in fact be the parents of Brody March, played by Rahart Adams, previously announced.
“We are absolutely thrilled to add Lauren and Damon to our already stellar cast,” said showrunners and executive producers Fiveash and Stoteraux, along with co-executive producer Abrams. “It’s only fitting that their characters in particular join our world of Gotham. And while comic book fans may recognize Lincoln’s name, they should expect twists and turns in the stories to come.”

Stamile is known for her role in the thriller Complications from ABC. He also owns his assets a shareholding Chicago firelike Dayoub, but also in Grey’s anatomy, scandal et 9-1-1. His partner Dayoub has series like Staplers, Monarch, NCIS et Grace & Frankie.
