At Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 27th, JB smiled like a new idol, saying, “I’m so nervous because it’s my first full-length album.” Although JB made his name known early on as the leader of GOT7 in 2014, this is his first full-length album as a solo artist 12 years after his debut.

‘Archive One: Road Runner’ is also JB’s first return work since he was discharged from military service on the 1st. JB explained, “I put the feelings of waiting and reunion into the album.”

The two title songs are ‘Crash’ and ‘Cloud Nine’. ‘Crash’ is a song where you can see JB’s energetic performance. It contains JB’s mindset of running his own path.

‘Crash’, which was released for the first time on this day, stood out with JB’s unique energy and mature charm. In particular, JB, who was the main vocalist in the group, still boasts his unwavering skills. In the second half, a high-intensity performance worthy of a B-boy background continued.

Jay-Z chose the ‘elbow dance’ as the point choreography. He said, “There is a choreography in the chorus that makes you spin around and break something with your elbow. “I think it fits well with the song title ‘Crash,’” he said, expressing satisfaction.

Another title song, ‘Cloud Nine’, features a sensuous atmosphere based on R&B rhythm. I feel happy as if I am floating on a cloud.

JB said, “‘Crash’ is a song that focuses on performance as an extension of what I showed as a solo artist. On the other hand, ‘Cloud Nine’ is full of R&B music. “I wanted to give fans a gift-like experience by making a double tie of two songs with different colors,” he explained.

In addition, a total of 13 songs are included, including ‘Baby’, ‘If You’, ‘Make Me Right’, ‘Chosen’, ‘Take It Easy’, ‘Preview’, ‘Temperature’, ‘Right Back’, and ‘Inside’.

JB participated in writing lyrics and composing all songs. Among these, J.B. revealed that he has great affection for track 1, ‘Baby’. He said, “All 13 songs are songs I cherish and love, but I am particularly attached to number 1, ‘Baby.’ “This is a song I wrote 9 years ago, so it contains my fresh heart and passion at the time.”

JB will open the 2024-2025 solo concert ‘Tape: Reload’ at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on December 7th. ‘Tape: Reload’ will continue at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand from January 11th to 12th next year.

JB said, “Unlike before, we are practicing and preparing more thoroughly. I practiced yesterday too. “I want to create a special time for the fans who have waited for me and those who come to see the performance,” he said, expressing his extraordinary love for fans.

JB not only practiced singing and dancing, but also paid attention to visuals. He said, “I gained weight during my service. “For this comeback, I lost about 14kg by running, lifting weights, fighting, and controlling my diet,” he said, drawing attention.
