Nothing seemed to get the couple to the Netherlands. They were safe in their bubble and it didn’t feel right at home, so why come back? For weeks we saw the lavish luxury passing by on Instagram and everyone started to wonder if the rapper could come back. Of course, great fun such a holiday, but after two months you just want to go home?
Initially, the couple in no way indicated that there would be a return and even assured us they could just come back but didn’t want to. But last week there was suddenly a very different picture. The rapper filmed how they walked into the plane, the luxury continued there, and then they landed in the Netherlands.
It is not clear what has changed. Is it the relaxation of the measures here that made it a lot more attractive to return? Did the money go through really fast? Or did Jaimie and Jorik just miss their own home, friends and family?
Jorik had previously said that he was extremely worried about his father’s health, so it must be nice to be able to see him again. And just hanging out on your own couch after so many weeks away, should also be enjoyable.
Why them and not us?
Last week we already wrote about a desperate Albert Verlinde, this week it was Gordon’s turn. The singer walked despondently down the aisles of his own business and told his followers that he hated that all the hard work of him and his team might now have been in vain. Gordon wanted more flexibility and really opened the doors of his business in Blaricum and Amsterdam.
Wednesday evening came the redeeming word: from June 1, terraces may open and there can be eaten with a small number of people in restaurants. Gordon is relieved and immediately goes to work to ensure that everyone can book with him again soon. Other famous Dutch people with a café or a restaurant are also happy, but there is also a whole group that is less relieved.
Arie Boomsma is disappointed. The gym owner is concerned about the physical health of people and wants nothing more than to be able to exercise again, but this is not the case yet. Our Prime Minister announced that gyms may not open again until September 1 and Arie does not understand why.
“It is fantastic that many of those other places will open from 1 June. But the gym is part of that. Gyms play an indispensable role in society, socially, physically and mentally. It is almost ironic that a government in which the VVD is the largest party is denying entrepreneurs the space to take their responsibility, “Arie said on Instagram.
Artists will also eagerly look forward to a better period in the near future: for the time being we will not be allowed to attend a concert with more than thirty people and later that will be increased to a hundred. But all festivals and parties cannot go ahead as long as there is no vaccine and that does not seem to be the case for the time being.
For a lot of celebrities, it will therefore remain with creative solutions for the time being. And hope for a vaccine.

A few weeks ago, Katja Schuurman was photographed by a paparazzo as she got into the car with two bottles of wine in hand. Fine, in itself, but the entertainment magazine that posted the photos immediately worried: Katja is pregnant and alcohol is not recommended. Did she take that into account?
