Gosh! TikTok Is Found To Peek Apple iPhone User Activity

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The TikTok application announces that it will no longer automatically access its user clipboard on Apple Iphone smartphones. Peeping activity of this user activity will be stopped via the latest iOS update.

After Apple released the beta version of iOS 14, news emerged that Apple had added a new feature to remind users if the installed application saw their clipboard.

When iOS 14 users open TikTok, users are warned and indicate that TikTok is reading what the user is copying. This warning has triggered user data security concerns.

“After the iOS 14 beta release on June 22, users see a notification when using a number of popular applications. For TikTok, this is triggered by a feature designed to identify repetitive behavior that is spam,” Tiktok said as quoted by the Telegraph and reported by Independent on Monday (6/29/2020).

We have sent an updated version of the application to the App Store removing the anti-spam feature to eliminate the possibility of confusion, “Tiktok said.” TikTok is committed to protecting user privacy and being transparent about how our application works, “he added.

According to reports, iOS 14 includes a number of features that are intended to restrict applications from gathering information about their users, including giving people the option to hold images from certain applications.
