On Saturday, Gorontalo Governor Hamka Hendra Noer urged civil servants to apply the values of Ramadan in their daily tasks. He hopes that all civil servants will maintain the good deeds they have done during the holy month of Ramadan, including discipline, togetherness, and kinship. These values should serve as incentives for the government to improve its performance and service to the public. The governor also appealed to everyone to treat Eid as a chance to forgive each other, increase their relationship with God, and strengthen their relationships among fellow human beings. He believes that the first of Shawwal would be a turning point and a reminder for people to do so. Noer, who is also serving as an expert staff to the Youth and Sports Minister, performed the Eid al-Fitr prayers in Gorontalo with his family and a number of provincial government officials.
