Sunday’s excitement ended with the meeting between Górnik Zabrze and Legia Warsaw. In the first half, the visitors simply did not exist. Zabrze dominated, as evidenced by two goals scored by them. After the change of sides, the military woke up and brought them to an equalization. There was a draw for a long time and when it seemed that the game would end with a division of points, the hosts scored again. Krzysztof Kubica was the hero of the match.
Lukas Podolski scored the second goal in this match. The footballer of Górnik Zabrze probably could not have found a better moment to break his shooting malaise. The world champion from 2014 scored his first goal for the club in Zabrze, and his team won 3-2. After the meeting, the popular “Poldi” accosted fans of the Warsaw Legia in his social media.

Legia Warszawa lost the seventh consecutive game in PKO Ekstraklasa and is still in the relegation zone. It hasn’t been that bad in over 80 years.
