A 61-year-old man was arrested accused of physically assaulting and threatening his former partner, 58, in Gorina and after a raid on his house, the police seized an arsenal, police sources reported.
According to what was indicated, personnel from the GTO of the Gorina sub-station, who carried out prevention tasks, responded to a request for help from a woman in 484 between 137 and 138. After assisting her, the victim said that her ex-husband beat her and threatened her. She also pointed out that she lives next door to her home.
Immediately afterwards, the troops quickly arrested him and took him to the sectional. Suspecting that the defendant had an arsenal, and after the Justice authorized a quick search, the police found more than eleven firearms and ammunition in his house.
Among them, six shotguns of different calibers, a pistol, a carbine and three rifles, as well as ammunition, were seized. The man was apprehended at the disposal of the UFI 13 of La Plata.
