Gorilla in space. Astronauts experienced moments of horror

Mark Kelly, one of NASA’s two famous astronaut brothers, once smuggled a full gorilla outfit aboard International Space Station. He didn’t tell anyone about it. One day, without anyone knowing, he put it on and tried to scare the crew. Although no one panicked, the biggest curiosity was the same smuggling the suit aboard the cosmic home.

It turns out that Mark made several attempts to send him into space to his brother Scott. The first time a strange load was detected by security. The second time, the action also failed because SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket exploded and the whole load went up in smoke. This took place in 2016. The costume was supposed to be a gift from Mark for Scott on his 52nd birthday.

Finally, on the third attempt, the costume arrived unnoticed into the cosmic home and was hidden there by Scott. When the opportunity arose to found it, Scott went to it the Russian part of the ISS. – I sailed to the Russian segment. When they saw him, they just laughed like they didn’t believe it, Scott Kelly said. The astronaut was even chasing British astronaut Tim Peake in his suit.

In addition, Scott has also made an educational video in a gorilla suit for his educational mission for children. Scott admitted that thanks to him he managed to attract the attention of kids and interest them in space issues. The recording went global viral. – One of the reasons why I decided to do this is because such a movie is very useful for children. The gorilla in space attracts everyone’s attention, Scott admitted.

Mark Scott was not the only astronaut who tried to smuggle something aboard the International Space Station that should not have been there or that the NASA administration had not approved. Interestingly, it was possible to smuggle alcohol, cigarettes and even into the cosmic home the cremated remains of James Doohan, Canadian actor who starred as Scotty in the series and Star Trek movies.
