Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is confirmed to be premiering on the Galaxy S23 series

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Samsung often uses a product from Corning, namely Gorilla Glass Victus to protect the screens of its smart devices, such as the Galaxy S22 series smartphone, they introduced Gorilla Glass Victus +.

Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked celebration in February 2023, Corning revealed that its latest innovation, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, will be present for the first time on the new Galaxy smart device, the S23 Series.

GSM Arena launched on Friday, although it was not clearly stated because Corning only hinted that its new innovation would be present on cellphones flagship latest Samsung.

With the release date of the Galaxy S23 series only a few days away, this cannot be denied.

The Gorilla Glass Victus product has actually been released since November 2022.

Discussing the durability of the Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the screen protector has increased its resistance so that it can be safe if the cellphone is dropped on a rough surface such as concrete or asphalt.

Resistance to rough surfaces is expected to keep the screen safe from scratches.

Supporting the sustainability industry, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is also made with 22 percent recycled content.

This is also in line with Samsung’s vision which in recent years has prioritized a sustainable industry.

“We are committed to integrating sustainability through all of our products, working with partners like Corning will certainly improve our performance and also help us reduce our negative impact on the environment,” said EVP and CMO Mobile eXperience Business Samsung Electronics Stephanie Choi.
