In conversation with presenter Fawry, Gordon says that he has been familiar with Marco’s ‘misbehaviour’ for a long time. Still, the singer was in shock when the news was made public. “I knew it for a few years and I didn’t believe it at first. I thought: that will pass. I was actually shocked by the fact that it came out. I immediately thought: Jesus is it true? It turns out So it has to be true, so that’s a hard blow.”
Gordon knows Marco well and hadn’t seen this coming from miles away. “As I know Marco, I think I can say with many people that I expected a lot of things from him, but not this. Very painful to hear this.”

Although the investigation is still ongoing, Gordon thinks he knows where the truth lies. “I’m assuming that girl isn’t making it all up.” He therefore has nothing good to say about the singer. “To do something like that is the lowest station you can reach.”

On Monday, December 13, it was announced that a 22-year-old woman had filed a complaint against Marco for ‘indecent assaults’. The singer would tell the woman – who with her story to The Telegraph stepped – have abused for years. The report followed rumors that had been circulating for weeks through various gossip channels about the singer’s transgressive behavior. Earlier, the singer responded by requesting an investigation at the Public Prosecution Service. The singer denies the allegations.
