Gordon on assault and robbery: “I will go on and have to” | NOW

Gordon has a message on Sunday Instagram shared in which he tells how he is now, after he was robbed and assaulted by two intruders a week earlier. The singer and presenter thanks his followers for their many messages and says that despite recent events, his new album will be released soon.

“I felt helpless but because of all this I know that there are so many more good people than bad ones, I keep believing in that,” says the artist.

“I’ll go on and have to, if I ever get all the same, time will tell.”

Just before the robbery, it was announced that Gordon was infected with the corona virus, but the singer says that he has no serious complaints. “So I have a strong constitution.”

Despite the events, he has decided to release his new album on October 12th. “The Healing only now gets even more meaning than before. I am fighting myself back again and even this is going to make me stronger than ever before ”, the artist concludes.

23-year-old man has since been arrested

Gordon said on Wednesday that two intruders had tied and assaulted him, taking credit cards and jewelry, including a Rolex watch. “I was beaten, kicked and humiliated, and they threatened to stab me to death. I was convinced that I would be killed,” said the singer and presenter.

When the intruders left with their loot, Gordon is said to have set himself free and raised the alarm in the street. Security guards from a museum in Amsterdam South would have come to his aid.

Gordon has been treated by a doctor and is going into therapy to come to terms with the event. Since the robbery, both his home and himself have been secured. On Thursday afternoon it was announced that a 23-year-old man has been arrested for his possible involvement. The police said that multiple arrests will not be ruled out.
