Gordon: “I’m not ready to die yet” Entertainment

entertainment">Gordon has two coffee shops under the name Blushing, one in Blaricum and one in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam he also recently started his burger shop The Burger Room. Of those two things in Amsterdam, he is very dependent on tourism. If they open again on June 1, “I think in phases, in the Netherlands”, it will still be difficult for the turnover to return to its old level, the singer and entrepreneur estimate. He can still serve for six months, because his company is “healthy and liquid”. “But to be honest, it should just pour in again in a few months.” Even then, he says, it can take as long as six months to a year for the weather to “get going normally.” “I think every entrepreneur sits at home with bewilderment.”

But that applies to all my colleagues. There are people who have lost their life’s work. It’s all gone. It’s just gone. ”

“It’s just money”

entertainment">Gordon adds that it is “just money” for him. “There are people who are much worse with their children. And my heart goes out to be the elderly in the Netherlands who are extremely lonely. There is so little you can do for them except send a message. I count my blessings every day. ”

entertainment">The most important thing for him is therefore his health. “I belong to the group of people who are extra vulnerable. My immune system is very low due to the medication I take. ” He therefore makes sure to get out as little as possible. “I am inside day and night. I’m not ready to die at all. If I get it, I’m really screwed. ”
