Gordon has posted a sultry photo online of him lying on the edge of a swimming pool. The reactions are unfortunately not very enthusiastic: the presenter is vulgarly bodyshamed. “Walrus!”
The Emirate of Dubai has welcomed Gordon as a new resident this year. The entertainer is the Netherlands, where he has raked in his millions, namely completely fed up. He does, however, find it important to show the Netherlands, which he so despised, what he does in sunny Dubai, day in and day out.

Gordon is enjoying life in Dubai. We see a lot of food photos on social media: he hops from sushi to oysters and back again. He shows the result today with a sultry photo in which he poses at the edge of the pool in a tight swimming trunks (see below).
It is somewhat reminiscent of Thierry Baudet’s swimming pool photo a few years ago, but slightly less aesthetically pleasing. And that leads to some really mean comments about Gordon. He is massively bodyshamed. There are especially many people who compare him to a walrus. Not done, naturally.
SBS viewers critical
It is mainly the viewers of Gordon’s own SBS 6 who get him through the mangle. The Facebook-page van Shownieuws is full of people who cannot believe that the presenter allowed himself to be photographed in this way. “Whales used to wash up on the beach, nowadays they lie down by the pool”, Sjonnie sneezes.
“No interest in that fat body yuck”, Shownieuws commenter Charles grumbles. And Paula: “Isn’t it spicy, a walrus on the edge of the pool? Bah bah.”
“No more hunger!”
When Myriam says that she is ‘not hungry anymore’, Shownieuws responds with a gif of Gordon, on which the singer makes a dead tired face.
All in all, the reactions are all very nasty and unkind. Really not nice for Gordon. “Please get on with that guy,” Wesley says. And Dennis: “Yeah really, do you think that Hazes you don’t hear from, you get this galbak.”
Is there no one who does get red ears from Gordon? Yes, one Nelly. “Looks good, great photo. Gordon is a beautiful man. It can be seen, nothing wrong with that.”
