Gordon would be a guest in Friday New insights, a theater performance by Marc de Hond, but canceled it five days in advance. The presenter would interview De Hond about his life, in a series of conversations that the theater maker records for his children, but that is no longer possible.
The Dog has against it AD said that this would be because Gordon “felt no click”, but his spokesman told the newspaper on Monday evening that the former singer “suddenly had to go abroad”. According to the newspaper, the spokesperson wants to leave it at that.
Cancer has been diagnosed at De Hond again and that is why the theater maker wants to make a portrait of himself for his children. His goal is to be able to give a portrait of himself to his daughter Livia (3) and son James (1). So that they get to know him, even if he doesn’t get as old as he hopes.
De Hond says it is very unfortunate and annoying that Gordon suddenly abandons his cooperation and cannot yet tell who will replace Gordon on Friday.
Gordon is said to be one of the 29 well-known Dutch people who are working on the project for free. In addition, Eva Jinek, Janine Abbring, Humberto Tan, Paul de Leeuw, Claudia de Breij and Ruben Nicolai also participate.
The proceeds from the theater evenings are donated to a project for the control of bladder cancer.
