WhatsApp continues to add new features. If just two weeks ago the application announced the arrival of communitiesa tool with which the user can create conversation spaces and subdivide them into groups, on Thursday reported the launch of reactionswhich will allow the user to react to messages using emoticons, a measure that will work both in individual and group chats. The person in question only has to press on the message, the photo and the video that he wants, and choose the emoticon that he likes the most.
But what are these emoticons? Own Mark Zuckemberg He announced them in one of his posts on Facebook: a thumbs up, a heart, two hands bumping, a smiling, surprised or crying facealthough we will have to wait to have more expressions, as the application stated in its corporate blog: “We are happy to announce that emoji reactions are now available in the latest version of the app. Reactions are fun, fast, and also reduce message overload in groups. We will continue to improve this feature in the future.” and we will add many more expressions”.

Thanks to this functionality, all user reactions will be collected at the bottom of the message, as is already the case in Facebook, Instagram or Telegram.
Larger groups and files
WhatsApp also incorporates in the update the possibility of sending files of up to 2 GB. Thus, it allows to exceed the previous limit considerably, of only 100 MB.
However, not all devices can enjoy the novelty. At the moment, it can only be used in the beta of the application and WhatsAppWeb. In addition, Zuckerberg’s team is already working to incorporate another novelty highly requested by users: the possibility of creating group chats with 512 people, has advanced the official blog of the application. However, it has not indicated when it will implement this option.
WhatsApp’s new multi-device feature
Just a few weeks ago, WhatsApp reported a new update, this time related to its functionality. And it is that the application can not only be used on our mobiles, but also on other supports such as the computer, a perfect feature to be able to work and connect with our contacts from a larger screen.
