Goodbye to jokes on WhatsApp: now, the images and videos will arrive whole | Cuyo’s diary

WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, announced the news and changes that will cover your last update regarding the sending of photos and videos.

After the controversy that was generated by the new privacy policy, which caused a massive migration of users to Telegram, another messaging service, WhatsApp announced a novelty regarding multimedia files.

The platform will remove the preview of the chat images. In this way, everything that users submit will be displayed complete: you won’t have to click to see the entire content.

The feature is now available and can be obtained by simply downloading the latest version of WhatsApp. From the company they shared a video in which it is explained that the photos and videos will modify their size and add one more part so that information is not lost. Thus, it will no longer be cut as it used to be in chats.

It is worth mentioning that this novelty are already in force on social networks such as Twitter, from a similar update, which allows to see the images shared in tweets with a larger size at the beginning.

With this change, it will no longer be possible to prank images that appear full when clicked.
