The Cuban actors Alexis and Claudia Valdés face a painful duel, after their puppy Chiwi, the family Chihuahua, died this week.
Anyone who has pets knows that they are like another member of the family, especially when they have spent several years with us, as was the case with Chiwi.
The caramel-colored Chihuahua puppy accompanied the Valdés family for 15 years, in which he saw the actor’s children grow up, and then the couple’s first daughter.
In that sense, it has been difficult for everyone to say goodbye to him, although it is understood from his age that he is in the natural average of life for his race.
Through Instagram, the comedian shared a text dedicated to his pet, in which he thanked him for his loyalty, his nobility, and his unconditional love.
“Today we went to the other dimension, our puppy, our relative, our friend, companion of sadness, joy, parties, friends, visits, walks, life. Thank you, dear Chiwi, for your elevated nobility,” he expressed.
In his publication, he added photos in which some of the moments are seen with his dear friend.

For her part, Claudia also dedicated a few words to Chiwi on the same social network, stating that the puppy will surely accompany other souls on their new journey.

The last to say goodbye to him was the actor’s eldest daughter, América Valdés, who shared photos of moments they spent together and thanked the puppy for the time he spent with his family.
