Is dead Alberto Bauli at the age of 79 years old, he would have turned 80 next September 5th. Alberto, son of Ruggero Bauli who founded the group in 1922, was president of the family business for 25 years and led it to become a leader in Italy and Europe in anniversary desserts such as pandoro, panettone and colombe and always more present in the continuous desserts sector, from biscuits to snacks, brioches and crackers.
Thanks also to the great operation of purchase of Italian brands of Nestlè (Alemagna and Motta), but also those of Doria and Bistefani. Alberto Bauli – who leaves his wife Zina and three children Carlo Alberto, Francesco and Chiara – also held the position of director and president of Banca Popolare di Verona, then Banco Popolare for many years.
