“Good to step out to Joel Alme’s fine tunes”

IFK Gothenburg played 1-1 at home against Djurgårdens IF. After four matches, Blåvitt is still undefeated in the Allsvenskan 2022 and currently tops a limping table.

– Now that you have landed a bit, it is probably fair with 1-1. They are better in others, but above all we want more at home. But if someone had said in advance that we would have had ten points after four matches, they would have taken it. We are relatively satisfied, sums up Blåvitt’s Gustaf Norlin.

Gustaf Norlin got the chance in the starting eleven for the first time this Allsvenskan season. This after he made a successful inning in the match against Häcken where he got a penalty. Norlin thanked for the trust by pushing Blåvitt’s 1-0 goal against Djurgården.

– It was fun to start. Especially since I have not been allowed to do it at home with an audience yet, so it was good to step out to Joel Alme’s nice tones and feel the audience. Fantastic fun.

– Of course you want to score goals every time you step out and play. That way, it’s redeeming, but I’ll do one in another as well. Then maybe the match is dead. The disappointment is there too. The feeling is still melancholy.

Blåvitt’s coach Mikael Stahre was nevertheless satisfied with Norlin’s effort for the day, despite the miss in the second half.

– He has a lot of running in his legs, threatens in depth and scores a goal. You could say that he definitely makes a good effort. I also think that Oscar Vilhelmsson does well when he comes in, so it was a good move. I can not say that I am dissatisfied with that decision, says Stahre.

Norlin agrees that he could add running meters out on the field.

– Yes, especially when you play up there. I am the first press player to participate in the offensive, so if I see a surface, I would like to take it.

The next match is already waiting for Monday when Blåvitt visits Malmö FF.

– Inspiring. We still have ten points in four matches and we come to an away match against the reigning Swedish champions. We will try to go there and make it hard for them, as we have done for all the other teams. It will just be fun to come down to Malmö, says Gustaf Norlin.
