In such a situation, scooter and car companies have increased their supply in the markets. Solar power EV cycle has been made by the Electrical Engineering Department of Maharana Pratap Agriculture and Technology University of Udaipur city of Rajasthan. This bicycle can lift about 180 kg, and once charged can cover a distance of up to 45 kilometers.
Dr. Vikramaditya Dave, head of the Electrical Engineering Department, told that this cycle has been made from EV system and solar power system. It can be charged in about 30 minutes, and a distance of 45 kilometers can be covered. Also, this EV cycle can lift up to 180 kg on normal road. It has both gear and pedal system, which can be easily handled. It is also fitted with a solar panel plate, light and horn.
What is the price and how to order
Dr. Vikramaditya Dave told that if an old bicycle is converted, it will cost Rs 20,000. Whereas, the cost of the new cycle is Rs.30,000. It can be prepared by contacting the college. A solar panel plate is also installed in it, which has a capacity of about five kilometers. This particular cycle can also be ridden comfortably with its pedals.
