Hospitals advance a bonus of 1,000 euros
Several hospitals themselves advance the care bonus of 1,000 euros net that has been promised to care employees by the government. App helps against fatigue in cancer patients
People who have cancer or have had the disease can manage fatigue with the help of a mobile app. That appears from research of the UMCG. The scientists investigated the operation of the Untire app among eight hundred (former) patients with severe fatigue complaints.
The app offers education to learn to deal with the situation, relaxation exercises, learning to manage energy and daily positive tips. There is also a closed online environment for the exchange of experiences. The app was designed by psychologists, researchers and patients.
Seven rapid test streets will be set up in the coming weeks
Seven major rapid test streets will be set up in the Netherlands in the coming weeks, sources confirm Thursday to NU.nl after reporting from RTL News. Tested persons receive the results within fifteen minutes on these test lanes. Details on the use of these rapid test lanes are not yet known. Minister Hugo de Jonge (Public Health) and the GGDs are expected to publish a joint plan next week.
