Injured Juventus pair Paul Pogba and Dusan Vlakhovic did well in today’s friendly with the Next Gen team, suggesting a return to action is imminent.
Pogba returned to the Bianconeri in the summer and signed a four-year contract with the club, but things quickly turned sour after suffering a knee injury during the pre-season tour of the United States. Pogba underwent surgery in early September and has been sidelined ever since.
Vlahovic started the season well for Juventus but suffered an adductor injury ahead of the World Cup. He made two tournament appearances in Qatar and returned with a groin problem, causing him to miss Juventus’ first four league games in 2023.
As TMW pointed out, Pogba and Vlahovic performed well in the internal friendly with the Juventus Next Gen team, each of them finding the back of the net and showing positive signs after their spell on the sidelines.
The two are now set to join Massimiliano Allegri’s side for the upcoming Serie A clash with Monza.
