At the moment it is already very cold in Ukraine and there is snow in several places. Ukrainians therefore use the song to put things into perspective with respect to the power outages they experience almost every day due to constant Russian bombing of their energy infrastructure.
Their “Good morning, tomorrow” is therefore not as innocent as the lyrics of the Flemish hit suggest, but it is an ironic raised middle finger about the situation in their country. In TikTok videos we see, among other things, people walking in the dark with a candle while hearing “Good morning, tomorrow”.
