VFourth graders collected money for socially disadvantaged children, who now have the chance of a carefree vacation.
The so-called “Pentecost collection” has been carried out for many decades on the initiative of the state of Lower Austria. The diligent collectors in the fourth grade of the elementary school in Rohrbach raised 1,590.30 euros with this year’s Pentecost collection.
“The proceeds from this collection are used exclusively to finance holiday stays for children from the Lilienfeld administrative district, so that children from socially and materially disadvantaged families can also enjoy wonderful experiences,” say school director Magdalena Fertner and school teacher Roswitha Gramm about the great collection result.
