Bulgaria’s national team can win its group in the League of Nations. The president of the Bulgarian Football Union, Georgi Ivanov – Gonzo, is convinced of this. He gave his assessment of our team’s performance and his expectations for the upcoming matches with Luxembourg and Northern Ireland.
“I expect the players to do their best and to win these games. There are all the prerequisites to be first in the group. We want it, we want it. After winning the game in Northern Ireland, the players got confidence and got some confidence in front of the fans, who supported them. In previous years, this support was not like that,” Georgi Ivanov told Nova.
Ivanov highlighted the work of coach Ilian Iliev under whose leadership Bulgaria still has no loss.
