Actor Willie Garson, known for his role in the series and movies “Sex and the City”, has died at the age of 57, said his son Nathan Garson.

Information about the cause of death has not yet been disclosed. Sources close to Garson told TMZ that the actor “fought cancer”, although it was not confirmed that the disease was the cause of his death.
In “Sex and the City,” Garson plays Stanford Black, a friend and confidant of the main character Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).
From 1998 until the series’ finale in 2004, Willie Garson appeared in 27 of the 98 episodes of HBO’s “Sex and the City.”
He is expected to appear in the restart of the series “And Just Like That”, which premieres for HBO Max later this year.
