On the TV channel “Belarus 1”Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko told under what conditions the price regulation system will change, writes BELTA.
Golovchenko noted that “sufficient measures have now been taken to curb inflation and prices.” The Prime Minister did not rule out that one day these measures would be redundant.
“But this will happen only when all the subjects involved in price formation learn to work fairly. As soon as we see that the situation with pricing has fully returned to normal and the price is formed fairly, without chasing super profits and putting huge costs into the cost price, of course, then the price regulation system will also be modernized,” the Prime Minister specified.
According to Golovchenko, the system that is built now is sufficient and gives results. Inflation is declining year on year. The task was set to keep it within 7-8% per year, not higher. And this task is feasible, the head of government believes.
