The factions of the DPR RI gave general views regarding this The 2024 State Budget Bill. On that occasion, Faction Golkar Party alluding to the government’s plan to increase the salaries of state civil servants (ASN) in 2024.
The general view of the Golkar faction was conveyed by DPR member Agung Widyantoro. He initially discussed the government’s plan to target the inflation rate at 2.8%.
“The Golkar Party faction appreciates the government’s steps towards targeting an inflation rate of 2.8%, this is a target whose achievement requires hard work, as well as solid cooperation between stakeholders, especially the fiscal and monetary authorities,” Agung said while giving the general view of the Golkar Party. , at the DPR/MPR building, Jakarta, Tuesday (22/8/2023).
Agung then alluded to the Government’s plan to increase ASN salaries. He warned that the plan could later affect the inflation rate.
“Moreover, there is a plan to increase ASN salaries in 2024 which has the potential to affect the inflation rate,” he said.
Even so, Agung ensured that his party agreed with the Government’s plan to increase ASN salaries. However, he hopes the government can explain further about the plan.
“The Golkar Party faction agreed and pushed for the increase in ASN salaries, while at the same time asking for a more comprehensive explanation regarding the government’s steps in anticipating risks of deficient achievement of the inflation target,” he said.
For your information, the DPR RI held a Plenary Meeting regarding the 2024 State Budget Bill. The meeting was attended by 290 council members along with the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
