Golkar asks Anies not to talk about the government only sometimes he “turns off” the criticism

Jakarta

The presidential candidate of the NasDem party, Anies Baswedanhe had mentioned that the government sometimes “turns off” criticism. Golkar party responded to Anies’ statement.

DPP Golkar party chairman Ace Hasan Syadzily said that currently Indonesia supported the spirit of democracy. Ace asked Anies not to talk nonsense.

“Don’t just speak up. We are open, democratic and uphold the spirit of free speech,” Ace told reporters on Saturday (12/17/2022).

Ace said that if the government rejects the criticism, Anies’ current steps could be hampered. Because, he said, Anies had already toured Indonesia even though he hadn’t yet entered the electoral campaign period.

“If the government brushes off the criticism, there is no way Pak Anies can travel to Indonesia even if it’s not campaign time yet,” he said.

Ace asked Anies to demonstrate that the government sometimes “turns off” criticism. “Let me see, which one is judged to kill criticism,” he said to her.

Anies’ statement about the government sometimes “turns off” criticism

Previously, Anies spoke about himself, which often received criticism from various quarters. He then mentioned the government, which sometimes shuts down criticism.

The moment Anies discussed this criticism was broadcast in a podcast with Imam Priyono and Hendri Satrio broadcast on YouTube R66 Newlitics. Anies initially explained that she often received rejection from elsewhere when he did something.

“Is it normal (others refuse), what is called disappointment? Disappointment is if it doesn’t live up to expectations, if it meets expectations, don’t be disappointed, those of us who studied science, then go to school, education , read, read history, nothing in history that in the political arena agrees 100%./12). detikcom was allowed to quote content from Hendri Satrio’s podcast.
