Golkar and PAN Join Prabowo, Gus Umar: The biggest shareholders are in Gerindra and PKB

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Golkar Party and the National Mandate Party (PAN) have declared Prabowo Subianto as their 2024 presidential candidate. Following the National Awakening Party (PKB) and Gerindra who had declared earlier.

The declaration now places Prabowo as the 2024 presidential candidate with the support of the most parties. Gerindra, PKB, PAN, Golkar, Crescent Star Party (PBB) and Gelora Party.

Even though he has a strong political machine, Prabowo’s vice presidential candidate (cawapres) is still uncertain. The name of the general chairman of the PKB, Muhaimin Iskandar, who was previously rumored to be accompanying Prabowo, is currently uncertain.

PKB cadre Umar Hasibuan said, even though there were more Prabowo supporters. But Gerindra and PKB have greater power in the coalition.

“The biggest shareholders are Gerindra and PKB,” said the man who is familiarly called Gus Umar via his upload on Twitter, Sunday (13/8/2023).

Unsurprisingly, PKB and Gerindra were parties that had supported Prabowo from the start. Before the other parties follow.

It is known that Prabowo’s declaration as a presidential candidate for the 2024 presidential election was carried out by PAN and Golkar at the Proclamation Museum, Central Jakarta, Sunday (13/8/2023). The declaration was attended by high-ranking PAN and Golkar officials, as well as Prabowo himself.
