James Bond is no longer exiled in Germany.

Most people know by now that Germany has quite strict laws regarding video games where games have been allowed to exchange people for robots, blood is painted green or simply not allowed to sell in the country. The classic Goldeneye 007 on N64 is a game that was on the black ban list, but according to Sectional reports has now this game been removed from the list and may now suddenly be sold.
What makes this a little special is that the game would have automatically disappeared from the list after 25 years, but now that it has been removed earlier, it means that someone actually applied for it. If we then put it together with the fact that Nintendo has just released N64 games on its Nintendo Online service, it can actually mean that it paves the way for Goldeneye to be released there. Nintendo’s e-shop is also located in Germany and in order for the game to be sold in Europe at all, it must be removed from their blacklist.
Worth noting is that Bloodrayne 1 and 2 recently removed from the list and shortly thereafter it was announced that the games would get re-masters. Admittedly, we have received a re-make of Goldeneye 007 earlier, but should we now finally see a re-release of the original?
