“Golden State’s Draymond Green Suspended Without Pay for Stepping on Opponent”

Golden State forward Draymond Green has received a one-game suspension from the league without pay.

Green is punished for stepping on Sacramento player Domantas Sabonis during a game.

One of the key players of the Warriors will miss the third home game of the first round series against the Kings (0-2), which will take place on April 20.

The incident happened in the final quarter of the second match of the confrontation. Green stepped with one foot on the prone Sabonis, for which he received an unsportsmanlike foul of the second degree and was sent off. Sabonis received a technical for grabbing Green’s leg.

After the match, Green said that he did not want to step on Sabonis, but did it by accident, as he needed something to lean on after grabbing his leg.

Draymond Green is raging: he stepped on the fallen Sabonis, retired, shouted at the stands and lost again
